ACOUSTICS
WOOPIES are made of multiple layers of wool, perfectly combined to provide optimal acoustic effectiveness. We coordinate the individual wool layers of the WOOPIES core in thickness, density, fiber fineness, and fiber orientation for ideal sound absorption.
That depends on the spatial environment (room size, furnishings, etc.) and especially on how the space is used. Our expert consultants will be happy to provide you with a sound acoustic assessment.
PRODUCT
WOOPIES and WOOPIES light are acoustically effective elements that, as wall panels or ceiling sails, prevent disturbing sound propagation in rooms and thereby improve speech intelligibility. With rectangular, square, and round shapes in different sizes and colours, you can implement virtually any design and infinite planning options.
WOOPIES have a firmly pressed edge, making them particularly strong in design. WOOPIES light, on the other hand, have an open edge, allowing for custom cuts and freeform shapes.
The basic shapes' design is clean-lined and modern. In addition to WOOPIES in square, rectangular, round, and semi-circle shapes, WOOPIES light can even be custom-made in your desired shape.
WOOPIES are manufactured in artisanal quality in the Franconian town of Dinkelsbühl in Bavaria, Germany. Regionality and short transport routes – including our suppliers – are important to us.
Our delivery time is about 4–6 weeks. Custom WOOPIES may take longer. Please feel free to ask.
MATERIAL
WOOPIES are made of multiple layers of wool, perfectly combined to deliver optimal acoustic effectiveness. We coordinate individual wool layers of the WOOPIES core in thickness, density, fiber fineness, and fiber orientation for ideal sound absorption. As the final layer, the wool pressboard on the back provides stability and serves as base for the mounting system. The WOOPIES surface, made of particularly durable loden, not only gives the elements their beautiful appearance but also makes them highly flame resistant.
WOOPIES are manufactured with artisanal quality in the Franconian town of Dinkelsbühl in Bavaria, Germany. The wool is collected directly from sheep farmers in Switzerland or our local region.
INSTALLATION
WOOPIES wall panels are attached to the wall using magnets. Ceiling sails and room dividers are suspended with a variable cable system. The included drilling template serves as mounting guide.
The table clamps included with your WOOPIES desk come in two sizes and therefore fit virtually any tabletop.
Yes! Our partitions and WOOPIES bass columns are optionally available with furniture castors.
CARE
WOOPIES can be vacuumed on both sides and along the edges using an upholstery brush (without rotating brush!).
